Dr Shipra Bahuguna Gaur is a distinguished specialist in addressing the complexities of subfertility, a field in which she has cultivated substantial expertise through extensive tenures in India and Australia. Her commitment in Australia saw her serve as one of the lead consultants in Assisted Reproduction and Reproductive Endocrinology at one of the nation’s most esteemed fertility units.

Working alongside pioneers in IVF, such as Prof. John Yovich at Pivet Medical Centre (later Monash IVF West), Dr Shipra Bahuguna Gaur has developed particular finesse in the application of advanced ultrasound techniques and the creation of nuanced, patient-centric protocols. These protocols are especially beneficial for those with challenging reproductive profiles, including women of advanced age, those with diminished ovarian reserve (low AMH), severe endometriosis/adenomyosis, multifibroid uteruses, and cases necessitating difficult trans-abdominal egg collections.

Dr Shipra Bahuguna Gaur’s experience also encompasses her time in Sydney West tertiary hospitals—Nepean Hospital and Blacktown Hospital (2011–2016)—where she gained significant exposure to minimal-access gynaecological surgery within the Sydney West Advanced Laparoscopy Pelvic Surgery group, under the tutelage of Dr Harry Menakuru and Dr George Condous.
